Kesan Puasa Ke Atas Kesihatan



Kumpulan penyelidik yang diketuai oleh Prof Mark Mattson dari Laboratory of Neuroscience at the National Institute on Aging USA yang juga merupakan professor of Neuroscience at The Johns Hopkins University merumuskan :

Berpuasa dua kali seminggu dapat menurunkan risiko mendapat penyakit Parkinson's and Alzheimer's (nyanyuk awal). Jika dilihat dari sudut kajian pengurangan kalori, ia menunjukkan berpuasa boleh melanjutkan usia dan meningkatkan keupayaan melawan penyakit kronik.

(Fasting twice a week could significantly lower the risk of developing both Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. When you take a look at caloric restriction studies, many of them show a prolonged lifespan as well as an increased ability to fight chronic disease)
